We had a chance to visit the only steel-producing factory that was not bombed in WWII. Due to this, it is possible to track the factory's development from its beginning to its end. It was a very important steel producer during the two world wars. It consisted of six blast furnaces capable of holding six-thousand tons. It was interesting to see the self-sufficient nature of this enterprise, producing air, gas, and electricity simultaneously. We got an insight into the life of the workers. It was an especially interesting tour due to our guide as well who showed us nearly all parts of the factory and provided interesting information (and glare). Below are the pictures I took while there. Beware fore there are many pictures.
