Every morning, at the wonderful time of 6:30, I woke up. It was a choice I made to satisfy the runner that is hidden inside of me. In Otzenhausen, I found myself surrounded in beautiful scenery. Why not go for a run and see all I can see? Whether it was struggling up the mountain to reach the Celtic Ring Wall or cruising around water reservoir, I felt a deep connection to both history and nature as I zipped around. If the weather was just right, the fog would be so dense that it was impossible to see the way. Don't worry; I never got lost... Well maybe once. This quickly became a routine I looked forward to. I tried to carve a new path each time so I could absorb as much as possible. It helped give me a kick-start for the rest of my day.
